In Memory of Yvette Johnson

July 6, 1967 - July 16, 2020

This eulogy is written in loving memory of Yvette Renea Johnson, who was born on July 6, 1967.

Yvette loved the simplicity of life, the beauty of nature, the fresh breeze gently blowing on a summer day, the soft snuggle of one of her kitties, or playing with one of her spunky dogs. She enjoyed riding her horse, or going to see a horse show. She loved, and appreciated her family, and friends.  Yvette chose to surround herself with friends that were genuine, because it mirrored her own lifestyle.

Yvette has touched all of our lives in so many ways. She was a giving, caring, thoughtful person that put the needs of others before her own needs. She intensely loved her family. She always planned ways to celebrate special occasions, making sure that everyone was included. If someone did not have a family, you instantly became a part of our family! She created an atmosphere of love, and friendship, always keeping the family together.

Yvette’s faith in God carried her through life, and made her the amazing person we all loved. We were drawn to her because of the love of God that she showed to each of us in her unique, and special way. The salvation of her family and friends was always important to her, and her voice echoes in our life, “to keep fighting the good fight of faith…” 1 Timothy 6:12

Our cherished memories, and love for Yvette will forever be in our hearts. We will always be better for having her fingerprints of love, and kindness in our life. We will miss you immensely, Yvette. You will never be forgotten.

Yvette passed away on 07/16/2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

“Love the people that God gave to you, because He will need them back one day.”

Yvette will be forever remembered by her beloved husband, Lee Johnson, and their son Edward Johnson (Kelly), her parents Edward and Doris Stensland, and her brother and sisters Edward Stensland, Charlett Maceira, Connie Moran (Tim), Teresa Elmore (Jon). Yvette will also be forever remembered by her numerous, nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.
