William Robert Swanson, 57, of St. Croix Falls, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15th 2023.

William, known fondly by family and friends as Billy, was born on September 14th, 1966 to Cheryl (Little) Carlson and William Swanson in Huntsville, Alabama.  Billy had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor that brought light to every life he touched. He enjoyed spending his time watching his favorite movie Shrek, playing with cards, coloring with his markers, and singing his favorite songs "Elvira" and "Amazing Grace."

Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl (Little) Carlson; stepfather, Clarence Carlson; brother, Dale Swanson; grandparents, and other family members.

He is survived by his father, Bill Swanson; brothers, Gary (Wendy) Swanson, Erick (Heidi) Swanson, and Brad (Amanda) Swanson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; other relatives, and friends.He is also survived by nieces and nephews Brittni (Eric) Swanson, Kelsi (Nate) Swanson, Daniel Swanson, Jade Swanson, Joshua Swanson, Jakob Swanson, Jena Swanson, Jordyn Swanson, Megan Swanson and Hayley Swanson.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Grandstrand Funeral Home of Osceola, WI. Visitation 2 hours prior. Private family burial to take place at a later date at Amery Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations are preferred to either Global Down Syndrome Foundation, Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at St. Croix, or Moments Hospice, whose staff both went above and behind to make Billy’s last days peaceful and comfortable.
