In Memory of William "Bill" E. Ferro

October 16, 1978 - April 7, 2025

William Edward Ferro, known affectionately as Bill or Tiny to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, at the age of 46. He was born on October 16, 1978, in Columbus, Nebraska. Bill made his home in Barron, Wisconsin, where he built a life filled with laughter, love and a touch of stubbornness.

Bill was a man of many talents and interests. In September 2012, he married the love of his life, Emily, and together they created a beautiful family. He was a proud owner of Tiny’s Removal and Hauling, a business that reflected his dedication and hard work. Bill found his greatest joy with a fishing rod in his hand, a rifle over his shoulder, or sitting around a campfire, sharing stories and making smart ass comments.

He could often be found playing dice with his dear friend, Deb, cracking jokes, barbecuing, and enjoying the company of his beloved beagles, DiMaggio and Bella. He had frequently gone on nature walks with his wife and kids where they had built forts, chased critters and collected agates.

Bill cherished every moment spent with his granddaughters, who brought him endless joy. His spirit, kindness, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Bill leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Emily; children, Tyler, Taylor (Dayne), Waylan and Daniel; mother, Cynthia; mother-in-law, Judy; siblings, Rebecca (Aaron) and Marvin; grandchildren, Amyra and Faye; nieces, Arizona and Zarina; uncles, Jerry (Rose) and Tony; grandfather, Leroy; puppies, DiMaggio and Bella; and many, many friends and loved ones.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Roger; father-in-law, Allan and many extended family members.

A Celebration of Life barbecue will be hosted on April 26 from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Cumberland Park to honor the life and legacy of William. We know he’d like nothing more than to have a cookout with everyone one more time.

“When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure”.
