Virginia Mae (Anderson) Warwas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 28th, 2024 at the United Pioneer Home in Luck, WI. She was 86 years old.

Virginia was born in Henning, Minnesota in 1937 to Bert and Clara Anderson. On May 26, 1956 she married Richard George Warwas. Together they had five children.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Gloria (Kenneth) Anderson; daughter Linda (Clair) Pederson; son Robert (Lorraine) Warwas; son Jeffery Warwas; daughter Cheryl Warwas; and son Matthew (Beth) Warwas; 13 grandchildren Jesse (Lora) Pederson, Jeremy (Jenn) Pederson, Dawn (Greg) Mielke, Stacy (Nick) Sommer, Jason (Katie) Warwas, Jordan Warwas, Jarvis Warwas, Patricia Keefer, Theresa Warwas, Crystal Warwas, David Warwas, Raymond Warwas, and Jonny Warwas; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 step great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Richard Warwas; parents Bert and Clara Anderson; and brother Kenneth Anderson.

Virginia was known for her gentle soul. She enjoyed visits from friends and family which included chatting and playing games. She was an avid reader and hobby genealogist. Her final years were spent at the United Pioneer Home in Luck, WI where she made many friends and continued her loving of playing games (especially Yahtzee).

A funeral service will be held at the Webster First Baptist Church (7422 W Kola St, Webster, WI 54893) at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2024 with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Virginia will be laid to rest at Luck Village Cemetery.
