In Memory of Vernon F. Redlich

Vernon Frederick Charles Redlich, age 86, of Osceola, Wisconsin passed away early, the morning of May 13, 2023 at his home in Osceola.

Vernon was born on December 26, 1936 to Fred W. and Gertrude (Getschel) Redlich at Nye, Wisconsin.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russel and sisters, Adline Olson, Elaine Elfstrom and Irma Rom. Vernon is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beatrice; sister, Helen Johnson and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Vern was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Church. He graduated from Osceola high school in 1955. After graduation, Vern enlisted in the United States Army on August 10, 1955 serving as a medic and was honorably discharged on July 23, 1958. He then began his career at 3M, retiring after 34 years of service. On May 5, 1973, Vern was united in marriage to Beatrice Peterson at the Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewis, WI.

Vern was active in the local politics, serving one term on the Polk County Board and three terms as chairman of Osceola Township. He was conservative to the end.
