V. Marie Tripp Age 91, of Trego, WI died Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Spooner Health.

She was born on October 12, 1928 in Spooner, WI to Henry and Hazel (Wiles) Snell. Marie attended the Little Valley School, Rocky Ridge and Chetek High School. She was married to Vern Tripp on April 4, 1947 in Pine City, MN. Marie was a waitress, worked at the Chamber of Commerce and MasterCraft Industries. She enjoyed sewing all of her childrens clothing, gardening, putting puzzles together and reading.

She is survived by 4 children, Rev. Alan (Irene) Tripp of Hillsboro, WI, Janice Tripp of Trego, WI, Terry Tripp of Pinellas, Florida and Nancy (Bob) Vorass-Pasanen of Winter, WI; 6 grandchildren, Timothy, Steven, Rebecca, Phillip, David and Elizabeth; 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Carl Snell of Kenosha, WI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Tripp; a son, Gary Tripp; a daughter-in-law, Esther Tripp; parents, Henry and Hazel Snell; a sister, Edith Wetzel and a brother, Paul Snell.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, September 28, 2020 at the Spooner Wesleyan Church, Rev. Ron Gormong and Rev. LeRoy Drake officiating, with interment in the Orchard Beach Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church.
