Todd Wayne Scheel, lost his battle with kidney failure at Mayo-Northland in Barron at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the age of 57.

He was born in Barron on January 12, 1966 to Barbara (Mizer) and Thomas Scheel.

Todd graduated from Barron High School in 1984. For the past 25 years, Todd worked at Johnson Truck Body with the latest title of Head of Maintenance.

On July 25, 2009, he married Jean Marik, who was the love of his life. Jean preceded him in death in June of 2020.

Todd enjoyed his ATV, camping, floating the river, spending time with his grandchildren and working in the shop.

Todd is lovingly remembered by his children, Jonathon Scheel, Amy Hintzman, Alesha Toews and Alisha Stearns; 13 grandchildren; mother, Barb; sisters, Cindy and Robin.

He was preceded in death by his wife; father, Thomas; and step-dad, Danny Mizer.

A celebration of life for Todd will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Barron VFW. Food will be provided.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
