Todd Philip Schmidt, age 60, of Osceola, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 23, 2024 at his residence in Osceola.

Todd was born on May 23, 1963 to parents John and Marlene (Lueck) Schmidt. He attended high school until he enlisted in the Army where he received his GED. During his 10 years with the Army he traveled the world doing almost everything he dreamed of - from jumping out of 5 different kinds of military aircrafts, train trips around Europe, salmon fishing in Alaska, and lake trout and steelhead fishing on Lake Superior. Also while in the Army, Todd was in the mechanical field working on tanks.

Todd would often be found traveling in his jeep off to his next fishing adventure, which lead to some of the most beautiful photography, which was also another favorite hobby.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry; and nephew, Nathan Schmidt.

Todd is survived by his daughter Nikki (Mark Neidermire), and Chris (Katja) Schmidt; grandchildren, Jona, and Emilia Schmidt; brothers, Bob (Lisa), Doug (Dorinda), and Greg (Kari); sisters, Linda (Jim) Davidson, Debra, and Gloria; sister-in-law Diane; beloved grand-dog, Leonard; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

A public gathering will be held in honor of Todd 2:00PM – 4:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2024 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI. There will be a time of sharing and military honors at 3:30 PM. Burial to take place 3:00PM Friday, March 8, 2024 at National Veteran Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
