Thomas Edward Gargulak, 23, of Chippewa Falls died unexpectedly Friday October 20, 2023 in Eau Claire, WI.

Thomas was born on July 22, 2000 in St. Louis Park, MN to Jon Gargulak and Bridget Balsness. Thomas graduated from McKinley Charter School in 2018 and was attending CVTC to become an HVAC technician. Thomas’ loyal and considerate nature could be seen by anyone around him. Thomas had the unique ability to see when you (someone) needed a smile and would always strive to put others first. He held his family and friends in the highest regard and would do anything he could to help those that he loved. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman. He had an adventurous and risk-taking spirit that drove his passion for fishing, hunting and skiing. Thomas’ natural talent in art and athletics and his all-in effort in new endeavors were inspiring to watch throughout his life. Thomas deeply loved those close to him and he will continue to touch our hearts every day.

Thomas is survived by his parents Jon (Teresa) Gargulak and Bridget Balsness, brother Bennett, sisters Ava, Ellyn, Cassie, and Sydney, grandparents Jim & Marlene Gargulak, Joyce Balsness, and Norm & Kathy Brunkow.

He was preceded in death by grandfather Floyd Balsness.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 1-4 pm with a memory service at three o'clock on Sunday October 29, 2023 at Buck & Beams in Cameron, WI.
