Tari Lorraine Boelman, 71, died unexpectedly but peacefully on May 6, 2020 at her son’s home in Frederic, Wisconsin. 

Tari was born February 16, 1949 in North St. Paul, Minnesota to Paul and Lorraine Ahiers. She worked for MNDOT for more than 20 years, making several lifelong friends. Tari raised three children and was a fantastic grandmother who loved to spoil her grandkids. She loved to watch the birds, spoil her dogs and chickens, and knit slippers, washrags, and hand towels for anyone she thought needed some. 

Tari is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lorraine Ahiers. She is survived by her children, Todd Kuehn, Rebecca Reis, and Sara Grafenstein; step-siblings, Tim McLaughlin, Kathy McLaughlin, Therese Kubiszewski, Mary Fitch; brother, Kim Ahiers; and grandchildren, Carter, Wyatt, LaRayne, Gavin, and Hugh. 

Tari will be deeply missed by all who knew her for her kind and gentle spirit.
