Tara was a lifelong lover of Jesus, who loved to praise and worship at Church, and who, on December 9th, ascended to eternally sing the name of Jesus.

She was born March 12, 1989, in Edina Minnesota as baby Katherine Pacioni, cherished daughter of Valerie Pacioni. Lovingly adopted as an infant by Brenda and Charles Slaughter of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, she was to be Tara and a blessing to her mom and dad. And now, as she has left this earth, her new father is our Father who is in heaven.

Mourning the loss of Tara is Nathan Haase, her husband of 14 years.

Tara leaves with us her legacy of uncommon love and devotion, agreeable countenance, motherly affection, and her greatest treasures--her beautiful daughters Victoria and Joelle.

Tara was preceded in death by her father Charles. As she was taken so young, she leaves behind so many loved ones. She is survived by her mom, her birthmother, aunts, uncles, a sister-cousin, cousins, nieces, nephews, Nathan’s extended family, and her many friends and colleagues who were much more than co-workers, and so dear to her. No heart she touched is unbroken by her passing or unchanged by her life.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Joy Lutheran Church in Centuria, WI, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the church, with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Centuria following the service.
