Susan Jean Lombard, 72, of Cumberland passed away on September 26, 2020, peacefully in her home. Sue was born February 13, 1948, in Cumberland, WI to the late Lorraine and Jack Benjamin and was married on October 1, 1966, to the late Thomas Lombard.

While raising her family, she was a devoted wife and dedicated hockey mom. She served the community while working at the Cumberland Memorial Hospital as a Nurse Assistant and Ward Clerk (Does anyone want a collection of plastic bats that may have been used to motivate staff?) until her retirement in 2016. In her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time at home with her pet Buddy, gardening, loving her grandchildren to the moon and back, and visiting with her dear friend Jane Lundequam.

Sue is survived by three sons, Tom, Rob, and DJ; six grandchildren (Lakyn, Morgyn, Mason, Olivia, Gigi, Nora); three great-grandchildren (Greysin, Addilyn, Kayden), a sister Peg (Buck) Wallace, and brother John (Lana) Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom, and her sister Kay.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
