In Memory of Susan Holden
Susan Kay Holden 59, peacefully passed away in her home March 5th, 2020 with her children by her side. Susan was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 17th, 1960, and raised in Cambridge Minnesota.
Susan was blessed, and will forever be remembered, and survived by her children; Cindy Holden (Everette); Mike Borowick; Mark Holden (Brooke); Tisha Holden; Joey Perry; her 9 beautiful grandchildren; and many more family members and friends.
Susan loved making people smile, laugh, and always feel welcome with her upbeat, positive attitude. She loved all of her Coca-Cola memorabilia, and had all of it out on display for everyone to see and enjoy just like she always did. Some of Susans many hobbies included using her hope and scratching off her lottery tickets, listening to her “old school” music as loud as she could, and always getting the family together to visit and catch up with each other. The most important thing in Susan's life was her family. She was always there for her kids, brothers and sisters and other loved ones. She was a very compassionate person who always made everyone feel loved and welcomed in her presence.
Susan fought a battle that most people would have given up on, but not her. Susan believed in hope and she prayed every night that the good lord would give her another day to spend with her loved ones. Susan was a hopeful person who believed in faith and the power of god to help her live her life to the fullest. Susan's wishes were to be cremated and kept amongst her children, so they always have her with them. Her celebration of life will be at a later date.
After-Glow
“I’d like the memory of me
To be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after-glow
of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo,
Whispering softly down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times
And bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
To dry before the sun.”
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.”
The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
