Steven Robert Harback Age 71, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Rice Lake.

He was born on February 14, 1951 in Rice Lake to LaMoine and Kathryn (Larson) Harback.

Steven graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1969 and then graduated with a Bachelor Science Degree from UW Stout in Hotel Management. He worked for the United States Government for many years as an Analyst. Steven was married to Jeanne Sutherland on October 3, 1981 in Rice Lake. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his stepsons, brothers and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Harback; 3 stepsons, Dean Sutherland, David (Lisa) Sutherland and Tim (Jackie) Sutheraland; 5 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; a brother, John (Lynn) Harback; sister-in-law, Peggy Harback; 2 nephews, Greg and Jason Harback.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LaMoine Harback and Kathryn Harback Sorenson; a brother, Michael Harback.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is assisting the family with arrangements.
