Stephen James Temple, 31, of Spooner, Wisconsin passed away on December 20, 2019 after a long illness.

Stephen was born in McGraw, New York on November 25, 1988. After living in New York and Montana, he moved with his family to Spooner where he was a student at Spooner High School. He worked as a tradesman and was very proud of his work. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his beloved dog, Cali, and his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. He spent many good days at the home of Terry Kalstabakken.

He is survived by his parents, Christopher Temple and Susan Temple; his siblings, Christopher Temple, Deborah (Trevor) Westendorf, Jennifer (Daniel) Botty, Daniel (Liza) Temple, David (Anna) Temple, Andrew Temple, Rachel (Quenton) Mendenhall; his paternal grandfather, Christopher Temple; his maternal grandparents, Harold (Ann Marie) Luce and Joanne (Bob) Conrow; and his 14 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Frieda Temple, and his good friend Adrian Kalstabakken.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 26th at Spooner Wesleyan Church – 1100 West Maple Street Spooner, WI. Visitation will be 4:00-5:00pm. The service will begin at 5:00 with dinner to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that tax-deductible memorial donations be made in Stephen’s memory and his family’s gratitude to North Memorial Ambulance Foundation, P.O. Box 600, Webster, WI 54893. This organization took great care of Stephen numerous times over the years.
