Shirley Mae Edna Lemler, age 94, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, January 3, 2025 in Rice Lake.

She was born on March 11th, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI to Herbert and Edna (Daye) Graff. Shirley graduated from Custer High School in Milwaukee in 1948 and was married to Paul Lemler on July 19th, 1951. Shirley found true happiness expressing her motherly love to eight beautiful children and nearly everyone else that crossed her path. She spent many a days entertaining friends, playing golf, working in her flower garden, and fishing with Paul. An immensely generous soul, Shirley made a loving mark with all who met her and was adored by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Paul Lemler with whom she shared 73 wonderful years; her children, Cindy (Steve) Kuenzi, Bob Lemler, Greg (Sheree) Lemler, Paul (Barb) Lemler, William Lemler, Judy (Steve) Heun, Roger (Michelle) Lemler; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, David (Lisa) Lemler; grandson Mitchell Heun; parents: Herbert and Edna Graff; and three sisters, Joyce, Delores and Phyllis.

The family is especially grateful for the care Shirley received at Woodstone. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
