She was born April 25, 1955 in Red Wing, MN to Virgil & Mayfred (Godbout) Jacobsen. Sheryl and family moved to Dallas, WI when she was young and they grew up there. She met the love of her life, Gregory Alan Byrnes, while in high school. They got married August 28, 1971 at the Assembly of God church in Dallas. They had their first daughter, Stephanie, in 1972. Greg joined the Air Force in 1973 and they had their second daughter, Candy, in 1974. While in the service they lived in many places including England. During this time, Sheryl worked many different jobs. When we lived in New Mexico she worked at Target and attended night classes. She sold cameras and camera equipment when we lived in England. When we moved to Las Vegas she worked at the base liquor store eventually becoming the store manager and a few different jobs in between. After 20+ years in the Air Force they retired back to Dallas, WI. Greg worked as a machinist and they owned and operated Fiddlers bar in Dallas, WI for many years before selling it. In 2001, we lost Greg in a motorcycle accident. Sheryl continued to work as a bartender for many years between Fiddlers and The Webb in Cameron. Sheryl enjoyed watching TV (was currently fixated with Baywatch), drinking her diet Coke and smoking when she could. She also enjoyed going to the Webb and singing karaoke as well as visiting with her friends and listening to them sing too. She loved being with her family!
