Sherri Lynn Musil Age 68, of Rice Lake, WI, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Marshfield, WI.

She was born on September 7, 1955 in Shell Lake, WI to Richard and Alice (Pokorny) Ward.

Sherry graduated from Spooner High School in 1973 and also attended classes in nursing training. She was married to David Musil on June 30, 1973 in Haugen, WI. Sherri worked for McCain Foods in Rice Lake and then for Marshfield Medical Center in the emergency department for patient registrar and retired in 2021. She was also an EMT and a volunteer firefighter for the Bear Lake/Haugen Fire Department. She loved gardening, crafting, ice fishing and hunting. She will be remembered for protecting her family, being selfless and her loyalty to others.

She is survived by her husband, David Musil; 4 sons, Jason (Sheila) Corroo, Ryan (Shelby) Musil, Nathan Musil and Devan Musil (Stephanie Stevens); 7 grandchildren, Payton, Harper, Victoria, Hope (Josh), Braydon (Abigail), Barrett and Silas; 2 great grandsons; a sister, Linda (David) Frank; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alice Ward; a sister, Leanne Ward; a brother, Fred Ward; and a nephew, Donald Frank.

A celebration of her life will be held from 4-7PM Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to her son, Nathan for his cancer treatments and medical bills.
