Sheila Joy Gonsowski, 72, of Cameron, WI passed away at her home June 13, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born to Clifford and Laura (Lowell) Hegna on June 23, 1949 in Rice Lake, WI and grew up in Cameron where she graduated High School in 1967.

She married her husband John Gonsowski April 5, 1975 at the Wesleyan Church in Rice Lake. In January of 1988, after being on a waiting list for a long 13 years, they adopted their daughter Kimberly. Sheila spent most of her working years babysitting which she loved very much. At her leisure she enjoyed fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Sheila was witty, kind, and ever-so loving. She will be deeply missed.

Sheila is survived by her husband, John Gonsowski of Cameron; Daughter, Kimberly Allison (Natalie) of Cameron; Grandson, Zachary Arbuckle; Half-brother, John Hansen; many nieces, nephews, cousins; numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Brother, Jerry Hegna; Sister, Fern Barta.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this Fall.
