Shawn Christian Dewey, 46, of Spooner, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2019.

Shawn was born on July 24, 1973, to Lawrence and Janet (Augustine) Dewey in Washington, D.C.  He loved nature, enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and feeding the wild birds. 

Shawn is survived by his son, Jason Dewey; parents, Larry and Janet Dewey; his sister, Chellia Dewey Faris; his niece, Cierra Faris, his nephews, Troy Faris, Jr., and Levi Faris; his fiancé, Sara Miller; and his special friend, Richie Pulgisie.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hank and Clara Augustine, and his grandmother, Louise Dewey.  Shawn was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Private services will be held at a later date. 

Arrangements were entrusted to the Spooner Funeral Home.
