In Memory of Sharon Lofgren


July 29, 1942 - March 30, 2023

Sharon Lofgren, 80, of Centuria, Wisconsin, passed away at Region’s Hospital in St. Paul on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Sharon was born on July 29, 1942, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Irma (Howard) and Thomas Snyder.

As a young lady Sharon attended and graduated from Bethesda School of Nursing in the Twin Cities. She married Harland Lofgren on October 12, 1963, and would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this fall. She loved gardening, quilting, traveling, and preparing meals for people. She was always there to lend a hand. She enjoyed visiting with her nursing school classmates and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Sharon leaves to celebrate her memory, her husband, Harland Lofgren, Centuria, her sons, Loren Lofgren, Centuria, Ronnie (Jeri) Lofgren, Centuria, and Michael (Elaine) Lofgren, Costa Mesa, CA; her grandchildren, Steven, Nicholas, Neil, Brittany, Trevor, Tishia, Harland and Dakota, several great-grandchildren, brothers, Jerry ( Carol) Snyder and David (Yvonne) Snyder, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irma and Thomas Snyder, her sister, Dixie, and her brother, Bert.

Visitation will be held at Joy Lutheran Church, Centuria on Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. and again on Monday at the church from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Angie Kutney officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Milltown Cemetery at a later date. Please join the family for lunch in the church fellowship hall following the funeral.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
