Sharon Donna Nelson, age 81, a resident of Shell Lake, WI., passed away on August 24,2024 at the Indianhead Medical Center in Shell Lake.

Sharon was born on March 14, 1943 in Springfield, MN to parents Harold and Alveda (Kosel) Madsen.

Sharon married the love of her life, Ron Nelson on January 31, 1970 in Siren, WI.

Sharon worked in retail and a bank teller for many years. Outside of work Sharon loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed being a strong advocate for her neighbors at the Evergreen Apartments. She was also grateful to be a part of the Church of Christ family.

Sharon is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron; parents, Harold and Alveda; brothers, Harold, Gary and Arvid.

She is survived by her children, Ken (Shelly) Green, Kevin Green, Kelly (Deb) Green, Synetta (Doug) Geddes; grandchildren, Jessica, Ethan, Brandon, Laci, Tyler, Leah, Lindsey, Shaya, Shar, Rhilei; numerous great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sisters, Barb and Deb; brothers, Richard and David; along with many friends.

The memorial service will take place on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM (visitation from 10-11 AM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, WI. A luncheon will follow at the Lakeview United Methodist Church in Hertel, WI.
