Sharon Ann Nelson Age 82, of Spooner, WI, died Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Rice Lake, WI.

She was born on November 21, 1938 in Winona, MN to George and Charlotte (Glubka) Smith.

Sharon graduated from Winona High School and then attended Winona State University for a year. She was a secretary for many years in different states and businesses. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, going out for dinner, and shopping.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Lynn (Jay) Thomas of MN, Derek Satter of WI and Mara Satter of MN; 2 brothers, Donald and Gary Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Wayne Smith. Private family services will be held.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
