We are sad to announce the passing of Scott A. Topper of Trego WI.

He died at the age of 65 on February 5th, 2024 at home. Scott passed away surrounded by loved ones after a short battle with cancer.

Scott is the son of Frank (deceased) and Dorothy Topper of Trego WI. Scott grew up in the rural Comstock area until his teenage years when his parents bought their retirement homestead up north. In 1981 he began working for Carson Builders, spending over 40 years working with people that truly became family. The Carson family treated him as one of their own and Scott loved them very much. Scott was easy going and loyal. He helped Frank and Dorothy make their homestead the place to visit for all. He had a love for the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and gardening. Family was very important to him, along with his dogs. If there was a wedding, graduation, celebration of any sort, he was there to share his love and support. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to all that knew him. His physical presence will be missed by all. Words cannot describe how much.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Frank Topper.

He is survived by his mother Dorothy, siblings Sandy Burdick of Trego, Mick (Patty) Topper of Almena, Terry (Christina) Topper of Prairie Farm, Ron (Cheryl) Topper of Trego, the Carson Family, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

To honor Scott’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life on March 30th, 2024 at the Chicog Town Hall, W8499 State Hwy 77 Trego, WI 54888 from 12-4pm. We invite anyone who knew him to attend to remember and reminisce all that we loved about him.
