Scott Jeffrey Stary, 68, of Turtle Lake died Thursday, July 1, 2021, at home in the care of his family after a long battle with cancer.

He was born March 11, 1953, in Rice Lake, WI to Stanley and Jean (Cornwall) Stary.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margie; children: Mark (Sarah) Stary of St. Paul, Kelly (Shawn) Leith of Poplar, Amy (Derek) Johnson of Waunakee; 3 grandchildren: Harper, Dawson, and Emma; siblings: John (Linda) Stary of Hudson and Marcia (Bill Scribner) Kalisz of Turtle Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at St. Ann Catholic Church - Turtle Lake with Father Bill Fournier officiating and burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Stary, Mark Stary, Shawn Leith, and Derek Johnson.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening at the Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake, and for an hour prior to the mass on Wednesday.
