July 2, 1958 - August 30, 2022

Scott D. Erickson, 64, of Cushing, WI, passed away suddenly on August 30, 2022.

Scott was born July 2, 1958 to Leonard and Donna Erickson.

He graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1976. Scott lived in Scandia, MN for most of his life, spending much of his time in the woods. He worked for Bell Helicopter while living in Texas for a few years. He then did some over the road trucking. Scott was an avid hunter and enjoyed his collection of guns. He was very passionate about Native American spirituality and the ways of nature. Scott loved the outdoors. He was very artistic and creative and was known for inventing and constructing interesting things including his infamous horseless carriage.

Scott was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Scott is survived by his 3 sisters, Lynne Osterbauer, Mary Kae (John) Guslander and Anita (Karl) Seelig and his daughter Jessi Anderson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Mike and Jon.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Gammelgarden Park in Scandia, MN. Friends and family may gather at 2:00. A short casual service will be at 3:00.

Arrangements are entrusted to Rowe Funeral Home, and the Northwest Wisconsin Cremation Center in Milltown.
