In Memory of Sandra “Sandy” Enderle


April 27, 1936 - November 28, 2023

Sandra “Sandy” Enderle Age 87, of Rice Lake, WI, died peacefully on November 28, 2023 in Rice Lake.

She was born on April 27, 1936 in St. Paul, MN to Robert and Ethel (Smith) Herold.

Sandy graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1954. She was married to Robert Enderle on May 11, 1957 in Rice Lake. They enjoyed curling together for many years, dancing, traveling and celebrating life with many good friends. Sandy enjoyed working with the public in the service industry - including a telephone operator, Outside Inn Floral Shop, Turtleback Golf Course and finishing her career at Primrose Parlor. She loved gardening, playing poker, feeding the birds and making friends with the woodland animals. Sandy loved being with her girls and the rest of her family and friends. She was a very social person and loved talking with many and making new friends.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Chris Ossmo (Don Gravon), Susan Enderle and Janine Luz (Gordon Jensen); a son-in-law, Dean Polzin; 5 grandchildren, Eric Enderle, Becky (Charles) Spencer, Colin (Anna) Luz, Alyssa Luz (Quinn Kaiser) and Krista Luz; a step granddaughter, Jenny Polzin; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Lewis; brother-in-law, Dick (Kaye) Enderle; a sister-in-law, Marge (Bill) Yanke; and 4 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Enderle; a daughter, Diane Polzin and her parents, Robert and Ethel Herold.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, Father Adam Laski officiating, with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Joseph Catholic School or Marshfield Medical Center Rice Lake Hospice.
