Sally L. Schmitt, age 82, went into our Savior’s arms on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Sally was born in Amery, WI on August 1, 1942 to parents Walter and Luella Roettger. She graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1961.

Sally enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking care of her pets and her garden, and attending numerous church-related functions. Sally also loved to sing and talked about one day joining a singing group.

Sally is survived by children Russell (Jill), Craig, Wendy (Steven), Kerry, and Kristina; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother Alan; 3 nieces; and 1 nephew; all of whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 grandson; and 1 great-grandson.

Funeral services for Sally will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at First Baptist Church 661 West St, Taylors Falls, MN. Visitation one hour prior. Luncheon and a time of fellowship to follow the service. Burial will take place the next day, Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11:00AM at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, 15550 Hwy 15, Little Falls, MN.
