Rufus Jonathan Bell, 84, of Hertel died Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Indianhead Medical Center. He was born August 1, 1934 in Oklahoma to Jonathon and Ella (Farve) Bell. 

He was married in Gainesville, TX on August 28, 1857 to Donna Jean (Gross) who preceded him in death on September 3, 2015. 

Rufus is survived by his daughter: DeAnna (David) Kasten of Hertel; his 2 sons: Rickey Bell of Oklahoma City, OK, Randall (Amy) Bell of Fort Worth, TX; 7 grandchildren, Donna Jo, Richard, Zach, Jett, Nicholas, Maysa, and Gracin; his sister: Ada Bell; and other relatives and friends. His wife, Donna Bell, preceded him in death. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake with Rev. Sue Odegard officiating.
