She married Vern Larson on August 8, 1942. Vern joined the United States Army and served as a career soldier and officer in the Pacific, Post-war Japan and France. They had been married for nearly 63 years. They both retired from 3M St. Paul to Lake Vermillion in the early ’70s.

The First Lutheran Church in Cumberland was their church home for over 40 years. Roselee sang in the choir and enjoyed participating in her circle. They had many friends in the congregation.

Roselee enjoyed entertaining, sewing, knitting, playing the piano and autoharp. They loved their lake home on Vermillion, surrounded by wonderful neighbors who have been their friends for many years. She took great delight in volunteering at the Cumberland nursing home providing nail care for the residents. She sought out those who were lonely and would sing old hymns and listen to their life stories.

Roselee and Vern enjoyed traveling in their motorhome throughout the United States and meeting military friends.
