In Memory of Rosealee M. Gross

September 22, 1950 - March 8, 2024

Rosealee Mae Gross, age 73 of Clayton, passed away on March 8, 2024 at her home.

She was born September 22, 1950 in Terril, IA to Harry Jr and Shirley Mae (Kemp) Schnell. Rose moved to the family farm in Clayton WI in 1963. Rose graduated from Clayton High School in 1968. She met her loving husband Dave Gross in college. Dave and Rose were married on January 24, 1971 in Turtle lake WI.

Rose created a large, loving family who loved her dearly. In the earlier years she fostered a love for cows from milking on the farm. Her hobbies kept her busy- whether that be sewing matching Christmas outfits for her kids, collecting snowmen and cow statues/figurines, cooking wonderful meals or entertaining. She adored her husband, kids and grandkids, and though they were her biggest love - garage sales were a close second. If there was one on the way to your destination, you better count on being late!

Rose leaves behind her husband David; children, Dean (Erika) Gross, Kristy (Jim) Cappo, Troy (Kourtney) Gross, Karalee Gross and Trent (Destiny) Gross; 17 grandchildren, with one on the way; 21 great-grandchildren; mother, Shirley Schnell; siblings, Eddie (Deb) Schnell, Chris Cavalier, Jeff (Ann) Schnell, Jerry (Kari) Schnell, Tommy (Cheryl) Schnell, Lisa (Paul) Houx, and Karen Schnell; and siblings in law, Sandy (Gene) Scribner, Kenny (Kent) Campbell-Gross, Patti (Terri) Willers, and Louise Gross.

She was preceded in death by father, Harry Schnell Jr.; brother, Greg Schnell; nephew, Ryan Schnell; niece, Jessica Willers; brother in law, Warren Gross; father in law, Reno Gross; and mother in law, Lois Gross.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 18th, 2024, from 4 - 7 PM with a prayer at 6:45 PM at Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake.

The family would like to thank ADORAY Home Health and Hospice for their services.
