Ronald “Ron” John Fischer Jr., age 63, of Chisago City passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at his residence in Chisago City, MN.

Ron was born to parents, Ronald Sr. and Betty Lou (Johnston) Fischer on June 7, 1960 in Amery, Wisconsin.

After high school, he enlisted in the Army and served a couple years. He wed Terry (Bothman) on May 13, 1992. Recently, they celebrated 31 years of a blissful marriage, by going to his favorite place to eat, Tippy Canoe. A restaurant name that couldn’t be more fitting for the outdoors man that he was. Hunting, fishing, camping – you name it, he’d be there…unless the Packers were playing then he had to watch his favorite team. Ron worked construction throughout his life and was very handy when it came to fixing practically anything. If he couldn’t fix it, he would then just rebuild it. He was a jack of all trades and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his father; and stepson, Mark Holt.

He is survived by his wife, Terry; mother, Betty Lou; daughter, Holly Fischer; stepdaughter, Amber (Dustin) Duddington, and Casey Meyers; stepson, Mike (Tica) Holt; brother, Mark; brothers-in-law, Bill and Dan Bothman; and many other extended family and friends.
