Ronald Herbert Shaurette, 70, passed away on October 5, 2024, at Cumberland Healthcare surrounded by his family. He was born July 7, 1954, in Milwaukee, WI to Bernard Neal and Dorothy (Tuchalski) Shaurette. Ron served in the U.S. Navy for a number of years. Ron met Doris Gibson in 1992 and spent the next 31 years together and raised their three children.

Ron enjoyed going on road trips and camping with his family. He enthusiastically watched the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks games. One of Ron’s biggest pride was being able to say he served in the Navy. He also enjoyed collecting Navy memorabilia.

He is survived by his life partner, Doris; children: Joseph, Quentin, and K.T. Shaurette; siblings: Steve (Brenda) Shaurette, Suzette (Theodore) Johnson, and Debra (Steve) McGill; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Bernard "Butch".

Burial will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.
