Ronald Joseph Campbell of Ellsworth, WI passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the young age of 75.

He was born September 2nd 1946 in Red Wing, MN, the son of Frank J. and Loretta F. (Johnson) Campbell.

He grew up in Ellsworth, WI and was a resident there for the majority of his life.

From 1979 to 1997 he worked for Kinship and held the elected position of President of the National Kinship Board of Directors from 1987 to 1990. He then transitioned to Mortgage Banking for Wells Fargo and PNC Mortgage.

In retirement, he was an active volunteer at the Pierce County Food Shelf and served as Director and on the Board for many years. Away from work he enjoyed gardening, reading, running, weight-lifting, biking, backpacking, camping and canoeing. He also enjoyed international travel to Europe, Mexico and Canada. He was a lifelong learner and an active member of St Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth.

He is survived by his sons, Paul (Jaimee) Campbell of Rice Lake, Mike (Aurore) Campbell of Berlin, Germany; and Shawn Campbell of Washington, DC; four grandchildren, Madison, Parker, Anton and Marcel; sister, Peach Anderson of Tulsa, OK and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Faye Larson.

A memorial service will be held at St Francis Church in Ellsworth, WI on Thursday, May 19th 2022 at 11:00am with a visitation one hour prior.
