She is preceded in death by her husband John; their miscarried baby; her parents William and Irene Kamrath; a great grandchild Alice Romportl; and all of her beloved siblings, Martin, Lloyd, Eleanore, Frances, Lillian, and Judith. She will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Julie Aukema (Brent), and Lori Romportl (Ted); six grandchildren, Snow Aukema, Lacy Kinders, Chelsea Becker (Josh), Kansas Warkenthien (Luke), Tanae Berg (Robert), and Malachi Romportl (Jessica); and 19 great-grandchildren, Vivenne, Hurshle, Zariah, Bristene, Laylamae, Melchizedek, Xavior, Jazanae, Langston, Bronzton, Revrhett, Simeon, Nahum, Russell, Joseph, Michael, “Stitch” (3 days over due), and Zebulen. A special thank you to all the staff at Home Sweet Home for the amazing care and love they have given RoJean the last 5 years. RoJean will be remembered most for her loving devotion to her family and friends, and her giving heart. She loved to bake and share her famous angel food cakes, butterhorns, caramel rolls, and pies with the people she knew and loved. She was an outstanding waitress at both the Rice Lake Elks Club, and then Lehman’s Supper Club for over 40 years, retiring at the age of 78. She loved serving people and was often requested, everyone wanted “RoJean” to wait on them.
