Roger Robert Hefty Age 63, of Rice Lake, WI, died Wednesday, March 9, 2022 surrounded by loved ones at his home.

He was born on July 17, 1958 in Melrose Park, Il to Gerald and Diane (Denise) Hefty.

Roger graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1976. He entered the United States Army and became a vehicle mechanic and retired as a E7 Sergeant First Class. He was married to Robin Skolweck on September 22, 1979 and he later married Jackie Parker on December 28, 1993. Roger worked for Lamperts Lumber as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, playing horseshoes and dart ball.

He is survived by 3 children, Thomas Hefty, Dawn Hefty and Amber Hefty; 4 grandchildren, Avery, Emily, Natalee and Dresden; father and step mother, Jerry and Carol Hefty; 2 sisters, Karen Hefty and Joellen (Brian) Abler; a niece, Theresa.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Hefty.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Friday, March 25, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Rev. Tamra Harder officiating, with interment and Military Rites in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
