Rocke Ray Baker, age 63, of Exeland, WI, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at his home.

Rocke was born May 4, 1960, in Ladysmith, WI, the son of Lila (Veness) and John Baker Sr.

He went to school in Bruce where he graduated from high school in 1978. Rocke met his wife of 41 years, Kathy in 1979 and were united in marriage on December 4, 1981. In 1982 they welcomed their 1st child Amber. Four years later in 1986 they welcomed their 2nd child Kitty and in 1987 they welcomed their last child Cody. Rocke liked working for his town as the “Road Boss”. He loved his Saturday mornings working at the dump where he was able to “B.S.” with everyone. Rocke enjoyed his Sunday mornings working at Beartracks where he could visit and spend “quality” time with his wife in the kitchen. He was a huge Vikings fan, even though he said, “they suck”. When Rocke had spare time, he loved to ride his motorcycle (a Honda Goldwing), go hunting and cutting wood or just being in the woods in general. He like spending time with his dogs, Xena and Hondo. Rocke would drop everything and do anything for his grandkids or his family.

He is survived by his wife Kathy; son Cody Baker; daughters Amber Riedell & Kitty Jefson; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; brothers Randy Baker, Duane Baker & John Baker Jr.; sisters Dixie Dillivan & Victoria Butler; nephews & nieces.

Rocke was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Baby J; and parents-in-law Robert & Janice Weatherhead.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Meteor Town Hall.
