Roberta “Bobbie” Louise Cyr Age 90, of Birchwood, WI, died Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Exeland, WI.

She was born on August 23, 1933 in Birchwood, WI to Gomer and Laura (Hanson) Evans.

After she graduated from High School she was married to her sweetheart, William Cyr on June 21, 1951. They owned and operated Cyr Automotive and Marine in Birchwood for many years. Bobbie was a wife, a mom and a homemaker. She was very involved in the community and at church. Bobbie enjoyed golfing, bowling, card parties, snowmobiling, traveling, get togethers with friends, and tending to her flowers and lawn.

She is survived by her 6 children, Joan (James) Ruch, Gwen (Jim) Gallanty, Suzette (Craig) Moore, Sally (Matthew) Sharp, Bill Cyr and Lynette (Randy) Madison; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; a sister, Kathy (Scott) Mitchell; a brother, Edward (Mary) Evans; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cyr; 2 children, William Todd Cyr and Kristen (Jeff) Steinmeyer; a brother, Albert; and a sister, Sandy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 4, 2024 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Birchwood, Father Joseph Kumar officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Marshfield Medical Center Hospice in Rice Lake
