Robert Paul Bressette, “Ogimaabines” 43, of Spooner died Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Miller-Dwan Hospital.

He was born September 1, 1978, in Michigan to Ralph and Donna (Sutton) Bressette.

Rob enjoyed fishing, playing cards, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by brothers: William Bressette, and Michael Homesky Jr., sisters: Nicole Bearheart, Mary Decorah, Micah Homesky, and Michelle Homesky; uncle, Henry Sutton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Angeline (Littlepipe) Sutton; parents, Ralph and Donna Bressette; sister, Theresa Bressette; aunties: Dorothy Bearhart, and Dora Sutton; and uncle, Glenn Sutton.

The Ceremonial Feast will begin at 10 AM Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Maple Plain Community Center with Chato Gonzalez officiating. Burial will be in Maple Plain Reserve Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bruce Rainey (Waub), George Rainey (Min), Chris Sonnenberg, William Rainey, Tyrone Awonoahopay, Stuart Eagleman, Joe Potter, and Caleb Washington. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Soulier, Michael Homesky Jr., and Henry Sutton. The wake will begin at 7 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Maple Plain Community Center.
