Robert "Bob" John Orf, 79, of Turtle Lake died, July 11, 2019, at Amery Regional Medical Center. He was born June 22, 1940, in St. Paul, MN to William and Della (Kulenkamp) Orf. Bob was married in West St. Paul Salem Lutheran Church on October 3, 1959, to the beautiful, Sharon Lexvold. Bob served in the Air Nation Guard from 1961 to 1964. 

Bob started his first auto body business in 1967, Doddway Frame and Alignment located in West St. Paul. He was the president of the St. Paul Auto Body Association, and a member of the West St. Paul Optimist Club. Bob and Sharon built their home on Silver Lake and moved their family to Turtle Lake, Wisconsin in 1981. That same year, Bob opened the Turtle Lake Collision Center along with his sons.

Bob and Sharon became members of the Shell Lake Full Gospel Church where Bob served on their board as a trustee. Bob was apart of their worship team and loved to play his harmonica. Bob and Sharon were founding members of Grace Community Church in Turtle Lake, where he served as a trustee for nine years. 

Bob enjoyed running his business, serving those in the community, hunting with his sons and grandsons. He even built a cabin up north to use during the hunting season. He enjoyed traveling with Sharon, doing yard work, hosting bible studies in their home, and sharing his love of Christ with others. 

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children: Scott (Jana) Orf, Tammy (Matt) Strenke, Steve (Julie) Orf, Dan (Jessica) Orf; grandchildren: Joshua, Ashely (Aaron) Edgett, Landon (Taylor), Collin (Eliza), Carter, Dawson, David (Sarah) Strenke, Nathan (Joy) Strenke, Heather Strenke, Dustin (Kellie) Strenke, Jacob (Rachel), Jordon (Libby), Sarah (Austin) Lehman, Katie, Justin, Connor, Hannah, and Robert Orf; great-grandchildren: Trenton, Grant, Colt, Sophie, Tenley, Emersyn, Paisley, and Harper;siblings: Joyce Meissner, Joan Grossman, Roger (Jean) Orf, and Ronald (Sandy) Orf;nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents William and Della Orf.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at Grace Community Church with Rev. Jason Buck and Ken Mandley officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery - Almena. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM Saturday, July 20th, 2019.
