Robert Jay Shaw, 86, a long time resident of Shell Lake passed away on Sunday June 16, 2024. He was born November 13, 1937 in Shell Lake, WI to Eugene and Dorothy (Koeppe) Shaw. Robert was married on May 28, 1960, to Barbara (Bergquist) Shaw who preceded him in death on April 10, 2015. Robert was a great dad to three children, and a loving grandpa.

He worked at the Washburn County Highway Department until a heart attack in 1999 ended his working career. After recovering, he enjoyed spending his free time fixing cars, tractors, and collecting stuff from yard sales and flea markets. Robert loved to talk and could strike up a conversation with anyone.

He is survived by his two daughters, Nancy (Paul) Miller and Mary Jo Shaw (Don Lammers); son, Steven Shaw; grandchildren, Clive Miller and Kenny Shaw; Doris Rydberg was a treasured dear friend of Robert the last 7 years.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Shaw.
