Robert “Bob” James Diesterhaft Age 70, of Rice Lake, WI, died Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Rice Lake.

Bob was born on March 10, 1953 in Cumberland, WI to Henry and Ann (Klingelhoets) Diesterhaft.

Bob graduated from High School and then entered the United States Army and was later Honorably Discharged as a Private Class Officer. He worked as a maintenance worker for many years around the Barron County area.

He is survived by a brother, Martin (Kay) Diesterhaft; 4 sisters, Janet Nyhus, Evelyn Miller, Barbara Snead and Bonnie Diesterhaft; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul Diesterhaft; 2 sisters, Carol Bartels and Donna Knutson.\

Graveside Services will be held at 10AM Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
