In Memory of Raymond Dueholm
Raymond Roger Dueholm, 74, passed away on December 21, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Roger was born on January 30, 1946 in Amery, Wisconsin, the son of Raymond Cecil Dueholm and Erlice (Nelson) Dueholm Wallich. He grew up on his family's farm with his two brothers and four sisters. He attended grade school at LaFollette until the eighth grade and graduated from Luck High School in 1964. Shortly after he graduated High School, Roger worked at Super Value in Hopkins, Minnesota where he met his wife, Mary Jo Krawczak. Roger served his country with the United States Army in the 7th Infantry Division from 1967-1969. He completed basic training at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and was stationed in Korea where he serviced M-26 tanks and patrolled the Demilitarized Zone. Roger was honorably discharged from the Army in 1969. Roger and Mary Jo were married on August 29,1969 at the Bone Lake Lutheran Church. They resided on the family farm where they raised four children. Roger worked at Wright Products (Sanmina Corporation) for over forty years as Production Control Traffic Manager and retired in 2015. When Roger wasn't working he loved fishing and hunting with his sons and family. You could always find him outdoors enjoying nature, cutting wood, and riding the trails on his ATV. His most memorable moments were family vacations to the western states.
Roger is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Jo Dueholm; his children: Raymond (Heather) Dueholm of Frederic, Cindy (Mike) Yira of St. Croix Falls, Aimee (Jonathan) Pichner of Hudson, Jason (Suzanne) Dueholm of Cumberland; sisters: Dorothy (Harvey) Roberts and Patsy Shirley; brothers: Allen (Kathy) Dueholm and Gary (Betty) Dueholm; brother-in-law, David (Donna) Nystrom; grandchildren: Tabitha (Kenny) Sanford, Anthony Dueholm, Caitlin Pichner, Hannah Yira, Raymond Dueholm III, Logan Yira and Sabrina Dueholm; five great grandchildren; and his furry friends, including his best pal Ollie. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Cecil Dueholm and Erlice (Nelson) Dueholm Wallich; his stepfather, Harold Wallich; siblings: Duane Dueholm, Linda Nystrom and Marie Bazey; brother-in-law Wayne Shirley and niece Teresa (Nystrom) Bercel.
Due to the on-going health crisis, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
