Ralph A. Kolstad, 87, of Comstock died, June 25, 2023, at Cumberland Healthcare.

He was born May 5, 1936, in St. Paul, MN to Ralph and Cecilie (Lee) Kolstad.

He was married in Almena, WI on November 3, 1956, to Mary Jean Schmitz. Ralph worked for 42 years at Waldorf in St. Paul, MN.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Mary Jean; daughters: Kim (Jerry) Anderson, Renee (Matt) Hegstrom, Jackie Kolstad, Linette (Toby) Ross, and Patrice (Tom) DeGonda, son, Ralph (Raina) Kolstad Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren with one more on the way; siblings: Joann (the late Harold) Catlin, Jerry (Vicki) Kolstad, John (Sue) Kolstad, Wayne (Judy) Kolstad, Jeff (Libby) Kolstad, and Patrick (Mary) Kolstad; many nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph R. and Cecilie; and sister, Nancy (Emmett) Catlin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Almena with Father Tom Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Knights of Columbus Council 748 of Turtle Lake or a charity of your choosing.
