Patricia “Pat” “GG” Sances Age 89, of Birchwood, WI, died Monday, May 30, 2022 at her home with her loving family surrounding her.

She was born on November 26, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Violet (Hall) Mabeley.

Pat attended Scheers High School in Chicago and was married to Ross Sances on April 22, 1950. They owned and operated Wil-O-Dots Sunset Beach Resorts in Birchwood for 1973-1985. Pat enjoyed crafting, making items with yarn, made all of grandchildren something in crochet, loved to tell jokes, and made the best lemonade and egg salad. She was a woman of faith and loved to read her bible. Pat loved her family dearly and loved them and everyone she met unconditionally.

She is survived by 5 children, Tom Sances, Terry (Mark) Wendland, Karen (Dan) Marcon, Dave (Tresea) Sances and Lynn (Gene) Seefeldt; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; a sister, Darlene Hoppe; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Sances; a sister, Peggy; 2 brothers, Bud and Sonny.

A celebration of her life will be held from 3-6 Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her home at 1475 North Sunset Beach Drive in Birchwood.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is handling the arrangements for the family.
