Pat McKeown (Svendsen) Soderbeck passed away suddenly on December 2, 2018 at the age of 74 years.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dale; their children: Sue (Tony), Rick, Teri, Sandi, Joie, Marshall, Teresa (Matt), Jaime, and Jenni (Jeromy); and her siblings: Jim (Joanie) McKeown, Bill (Kathy) McKeown, Peg (Mike) Sullivan, John (Anita) McKeown, Joan Lakedon, Mary McKeown, Maureen (Wally) Grant, Liz (Dave) Wanger, and Joe (Tara) McKeown.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Tom McKeown; and good friend, Donna Leen.

Pat will also be remembered by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family, the wonderful ladies in the Knit-Wits, and dear friends.

Pat’s love of French, which she taught for many years, was evident throughout her home. She also taught Special Education for over 20 years.  Pat was a member of Mensa.

The Visitation for Pat will be Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, 26530 Lakeland Ave N, Webster, WI 54893. 

The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 8, 11:00 am at East Balsam Baptist Church, 1816 108th Street, Balsam Lake, WI 54810 with Pastor Gabe Brennan officiating.  There is also a visitation at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am.  Lunch following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Pat Soderbeck’s name to MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving or Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life.
