In Memory of Orven Amacker
Orven G. Amacker, age 94, went to be with his Lord on April 22, 2021 with family by his side.
Orven was born on March 8, 1927 to parents, Christ and Catherine (Graborvitz) Amacker in Plum City, Wisconsin.
He was united in Marriage to Marlys Leonard on September 2, 1950.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, receiving the Bronze Star. He was an active member of the American Legion for 45 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and attending meat raffles.
He loved his Miller Light!
Orven was preceded in death by his wife, Marlys; parents, Christ and Catherine Amacker; his brothers, James Roberts, Lawrence Glines, Roger Calvin, and Clifton Amacker; sisters, Lorena Holmes and Christina Linhart.
He is survived by his children, Pam (Dianne) Amacker, Dawn (David) Schulte and Craig (Sandy) Amacker; his grandchildren, Stacey (Jay) Nesseth, Jeremy Peterson, Brock (Shelley) Schulte, Danielle (Eric) Bierbrauer, Faith and Levi Goplin; his great grandchildren, Tiffany (Justin) Launderville, Zachary Riester, Brett Schulte, Briann, Cheyenne, Brecken Peterson, Grace, and Graham Bierbrauer; great-great grandchildren, Brea, Bradley, Sean, Anthony and Alexis; his sister, Alvina Davison; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Very special thank you to his Doctor Eydie Farrow and his dedicated, loving caregivers, Lauralei, Sandy and Darcy.
Celebration of Life will be held May 8.2021, 1-4 p.m. at American Legion Post 204 139 S Oak St., Ellsworth, WI 54011
Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
