Norman Richard “Dutch” Sweeny, 73, of Spooner passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at his residence. 

Norman was born on October 15, 1944 to Ellis and Dorothy (Raprager) Sweeny.  He graduated from High School and served his country in the US Army from 1963 until 1968. 

Norman is survived by: his children; Ann, Amy, Ryan (Floyd) Sweeny, Michael Sweeny, Shawn Sweeny, and Patty Jorgensen-Flannery, brothers; Kenny Sweeny, James Sweeny, Elroy Sweeny, and Lloyd Sweeny, sister-in-law, Sandy Sweeny, and aunt, Sharon Raprager.  He was preceded in death by; his parents, brother, Myron Sweeny, and, uncle, Richard Raprager.
