In Memory of Norman D. Fisk


February 4, 1934 - December 24, 2023

Norman “Norm” Dale Fisk, age 89, of Cameron, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2023 at his home in Cameron.

Norm was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 4, 1934, the son of Norman Rudolf Fisk and Evalyn Anna McQueen Fisk.

On September 4, 2005, he married Janice “Jan” Rae Houchins at Roseville Baptist Church in Roseville, Minnesota. Both he and Jan were members of the Roseville Baptist Church, where Norm served as an Associate Pastor.

Prior to his marriage to Jan, Norm served as a circuit pastor to 16 assisted living facilities in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. He was then called to pastor Living Water Christian Fellowship in Wausau, Wisconsin, being there for five years.

Often called Uncle Tom by his family, he served in the U.S. Air Force attaining the rank of Tech Sergeant. He served 16 years from 1953 and earned three (3) Vietnam War Campaign medals as well as a USAF Accommodation Medal for Special Achievements while serving as Crew Chief on a B52 Strato Fortess.

Survivors include his wife, Jan of Cameron; step-daughters, Kathy Lynn Watts (Ken) Denman, Karen Rae Watts (Keith) Garnett, Hok-Tali Laurae Morris and Wiyanna Lakota Morris (Joe) Hicks; brother, James Allen Fisk; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Norm was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Morse; brother, Richard (Dick) Charles Fisk; and a sister-in-law, Judith Barbara Anderson Fisk.

He has requested no funeral after his cremation.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
