In Memory of Nancy L. Lee
Nancy Lou Lee, age 80, of Hopkins, Minnesota, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at her home in Hopkins.
Nancy was born on February 26, 1944 to Albin and Betty (Lunde) Bystrom in Frederic, Wisconsin. She grew up on the family farm where she learned to drive a tractor before a car. To this day, Nancy was driving with two feet. Nancy attended St. Croix High School and graduated class of 1962. After high school, Nancy started working in Minneapolis at Mini Gasco Company, selling fuel. In 1964, Nancy was united in marriage to Daniel Lee after a 5-day engagement. They both moved to California, where Daniel was stationed. This marriage was blessed with three daughters, Teresa, Traci and Tori.
Nancy enjoyed sewing, cooking and genealogy. She loved to travel, taking a yearly trip to a bed and breakfast with family and friends. Nancy especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years Daniel; children, Teresa (Todd) Sanden, Traci Lee and Tori Lee; grandchildren, Nick (Holli), Emily Sanden, Taylor Andrews, Jordan (Dakota) Larson, Madison and Crystal Lee; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Diane Boe, Robyn Bystrom, Kevin (Dianne) Bystrom and Tim Parmeter; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Albin and Betty Bystrom and sister, Patsy (Leo) Parmeter.
